Practice

This section offers advice on how to improve your listening and speaking skills through intelligent practice.

Students enrolled in oral classes in the English Department will perhaps be particularly interested in the tips outlined in the preparation section, since the various classroom activities and outside work for individuals and groups are described here.

For independent study, consult the extra practice section, which provides information about our audio library, housed in the English Department Library (room 122), advice on working on oral/aural skills, and our links.  Those who are enrolled as off-campus students (étudiants non-assidus) should visit this section.

If you’re not a natural-born surfer and would prefer to work on your English in the presence of real live humans, then the social activities section is for you.  This section focuses on our English Society, a university club run by the English lecteurs for those interested in learning English.
